This privacy policy applies to the Surta app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by NEUROSYNCLAB LLC (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider", "we", "us" or "our").
Your Privacy Matters to Us.
Surta turns your ideas into animated video carousels. Your topics, carousels and slides are stored on your own device. To write the text of your slides, the Application sends the text of your idea to an AI service, and only after you have agreed to it. We collect only the data needed to run your account, count your free carousels, manage your subscription, and keep the Application stable.
We do NOT sell your personal data to anyone, including data brokers, advertisers, insurance companies and social media companies. We do NOT track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Information Collection and Use
Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device and is not uploaded to our servers:
- Your content: topics, ideas, carousels, slides, and the styles, colors and fonts you choose
- Your username that you add to your slides
- Exported videos, which the Application saves to your Photos library when you ask it to
- App preferences and settings
Account Information
To use the Application you sign in with Sign in with Apple. We receive:
- A unique user identifier from Apple
- Your email address. If you choose "Hide My Email", we receive only an anonymous relay address created by Apple. We do not request your name.
Your account is stored with our backend provider, Supabase.
Text You Send for AI Generation
When you create a carousel, the Application sends the following to our server, which forwards it to an AI service that writes the slides:
- The text of your idea, typed or dictated
- The topic and description shown in the Application
- The settings you chose, such as the format, the number of slides and the slide language
Before the first generation, the Application asks for your permission to share this text with a third-party AI service. We store a record of your consent (the version of the disclosure you agreed to and the date). You can withdraw consent at any time in the Application's settings. Without it, AI generation is not available.
We do not store the text of your ideas or the generated slides in our database. The generated text is returned to your device and stored there. For troubleshooting, our server may keep short-lived technical logs, which in rare error cases can include a fragment of the AI's response.
Do not include sensitive personal information (such as health, financial or identity data, or other people's personal data) in the text you send for generation.
Voice Input
If you dictate your idea, the Application uses Apple's speech recognition. Your voice is processed by Apple to convert it to text, and this may include sending audio to Apple's servers under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your voice recordings; we receive only the resulting text, as part of your idea.
Usage Data for Free Carousels
To provide free carousels fairly, we store the number of free carousels your account has used.
Technical and Analytics Data
To keep the Application working and to improve it, we collect:
- Usage Analytics: which screens and features are used, for example how many slides a carousel has, which format was chosen, or how many characters an idea has (but never the text itself). Collected with Google Analytics for Firebase and linked to your account identifier and an app instance identifier.
- Crash Reports and Diagnostics: device model, operating system version, crash logs and technical diagnostic messages, sent to Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs. These may be linked to your account identifier.
We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
Subscription Data
Subscriptions are managed through Adapty. Adapty receives your account identifier, your app instance identifier, information about your purchases and subscription status, and technical device data (such as device model, OS version, app version, language and region).
Data Storage and Security
On Your Device
- Your content stays on your device: topics, carousels and slides are not uploaded to our servers
- Device security: protected by your device's built-in security features
- Full control: you can delete topics and carousels in the Application at any time
On Our Servers
- Account data, the free carousel count and your AI consent record are stored with Supabase and protected by access controls, so each account can access only its own data.
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Data Sharing and Third Parties
What We NEVER Share
- Your content (topics, carousels, slides): it stays on your device

Refund Requests
If you request a refund for a purchase from Apple, Apple may ask us for information about how the purchase was used.
